Marcel Williams Foster

Marcel Williams Foster is a choreographer and arts administrator currently based in Philadelphia. He was selected as part of The Hacktory's inaugural artist-in-residency program and presented one of the first dance works to be featured as part of Philly Tech Week of Technically Philly. His work in performance is rooted in a creative mission to ask scientific questions through the lens of the performing arts, and blends in five years experience working with the Jane Goodall Institute where he researched and published about the behavior of the chimpanzees in Tanzania. Each project is a new collaboration with science and technology leaders, and ranges from robots moving with ballet dancers, to audiences generating choreography on their mobile devices. Foster's work in live performance has received support from the The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage, The Philadelphia Cultural Fund, and the Illinois Arts Council. His original work was presented at Stanford University, Bryn Mawr College, The Nuyorican Poets Cafe, and The Center for Performance Research. And as a performer, Foster collaborated with David Gordon, Jeanine Durning, Susan Rethorst, Headlong Dance Theater, Pig Iron Theater, and The Guthrie Theater.

Lindsay Browning

Lindsay Browning has been a professional performing Dance/Theatre Artist in the States and Abroad since 2004. Studying the Performance and History of Contemporary Dance at Radford University in Virginia, Lindsay graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2005. Upon graduation she moved to Philadelphia and began performing with established Companies such as Group Motion Dance Company and Scrap Performance Group. She's gone on to work with many of Philadelphia's Independent Artists and Growing Professional Companies. In Philadelphia, Lindsay is currently performing with Penn Dixie Productions, Scrap Performance Group, Group Motion Dance Company and Olive Prince Dance. In 2011, Lindsay was offered the opportunity to travel to Italy to work with Opera Director Manfred Schweigkofler on his premiere rendition of "Romeo & Juliet". Lindsay was the Opera's Choreographer and lead Dancer. In addition, she has had the pleasure to perform as a Dancer in two World Premiere Opera Productions at Philadelphia's Academy of Music. Lindsay stepped outside her chosen Art form to experience the world of Magic in 2010, working with Magician Michael Grasso on NBC's America's Got Talent and has since traveled all over the world performing Acts of Magic as a duo with Michael Grasso.

In addition to her work as a performing artist, Lindsay has also developed a presence in the Philadelphia community as a movement and performance Photographer.
